How shiatsu can help
Shiatsu can be useful in many situations and for many things.
It is a very relaxing experience to receive a shiatsu, so physically and mentally it is very useful on this basis alone.

Shiatsu has many deeper levels though and it can be very useful for addressing both physical and emotional/life issues. ​

Since most physical tension comes from tension in our mental/emotional being, when through shiatsu the physical tension is released, the mental/emotional tension can also be addressed.

For these reasons Shiatsu can be very helpful for supporting people through difficult periods in life or helping them to break free from unhelpful mental patterns or heal from the past.
